Last night marked the fiftieth anniversary of the premiere of the classic Baby Boomer icon 'The Jetsons,' and many observers say the premiere of the classic Hanna Barbera cartoon is a good opportunity to look back at the futuristic pop culture of the sixties, from 'The Twilight Zone' to 'Star Trek,' 'Lost in Space,' and '2001, a Space Odyssey' to see how close they got the developments of the coming half century.
