Graduating Art Majors Present Work in Exhibition

The senior group exhibition will be on display Feb. 25-March 8 in the Studio Gallery.

Graduating studio art majors from the Texas Tech School of Art will present their artwork in the Senior Studio Art BFA Group Exhibition Feb. 25-March 8 in the Studio Gallery. A public reception will be held in the foyer of the Art Building from 5-7 p.m. March 2.

The BFA Group Exhibit features work in all media, ranging from: ceramics, jewelry design and metalsmithing, painting and drawing, photography, printmaking and sculpture.

Artists include: Janette Anderson, Ellen Arneson, Peyton Aufill, Brooke Bartolowits, Ryan Burns, Adriane Byrd, Britt Byrne, Christine Case, Annie Dela Rosa, Taylor Dowdy, Diannah Duncan, Melissa Edwards, Amanda Goebel, Lauren Gonzales, Leah Highsmith, Josh Hunt, Dylan A. Kennedy, Dylan E. Kennedy, Dillon Land, Sarah Luttrell, Efren Marrufo, Josh Mixaydy, Robert Monk, Ashley Munger, Diana Neudorf, Carlton Noebel, Sarah Palmer, Catie Powe, Kristy Scales, Carrie Skinner, Justin Soto, Clayton Tatum, Rachel Trapp and Erica White.

The Art Building is located at 2802 18th St (near the corner of 18th Street and Flint Avenue). Paid parking is available on the fourth floor of the Flint Avenue Parking Facility on Monday through Friday and free on weekends. Admission to the exhibit is free.

The exhibitions, speakers and related programs at Landmark Arts and the School of Art are made possible, in part, by grants from the Helen Jones Foundation and The CH Foundation. Additional support comes from cultural activities fees administered through the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

The School of Art is part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Texas Tech University which also includes the School of Music and the Department of Theater and Dance.

The School offers undergraduate degree programs in art history, communication design, studio arts and visual studies as well as MEA and MFA graduate degree and Fine Arts Ph.D. opportunities.

The program also supports the Landmark Arts Galleries and the Standing Room Only Gallery (SRO).
