Texas Bar Schedules Water Rights Course In Austin

The State Bar of Texas has scheduled its annual Changing Face of Water Rights course for Thursday and Friday, April 8 and 9, at the Sheraton Austin Hotel.


On Friday, a morning session titled Water Rights Enforcement and Drought Management is scheduled. The luncheon presenter, Gabriel E. Eckstein, the Texas Tech School of Law, will address Water Ethics: What Is Your Role as a Lawyer? followed by a panel discussion titled Water Supply for Land Development: Dealing with Water Utilities and Environmental Flows that Affect Water Rights moderated by Mark McPherson, the McPherson Lawfirm, and with Ingrid Karin Hansen of the Texas Water Development Board among the panelists.
