Tech sets spring enrollment mark

Texas Tech has set another enrollment mark with 28,014 students this spring semester, possibly just in time to help the university lasso increasingly elusive state funding.
Officials announced Monday that Tech broke last spring's enrollment record of 26,528 by 5.6 percent this semester, bringing its total to 22,320 undergraduates and 5,104 graduate students as of the 20th class day's official snapshot.
