The HSF will be presenting information about financial aid, scholarships and college student life to Lubbock-area high school students and parents.
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholar Chapter will host a workshop from 9:30 a.m.-noon on Feb. 20 at the Rawls College of Business Building rotunda (first floor).
The workshop is titled “Financial Aiders” and will be available for Lubbock-area high school students and their parents.
The HSF will be presenting information about financial aid, scholarships and college student life. There will be two discussion panels, one for students and one for parents. Students and parents can come and learn from current Texas Tech students who are experiencing college life.
Highlights include financial aid information presented by the Office of Student Financial Aid staff, scholarship opportunities, discussion on student-life activities and a question-and-answer session. Refreshments will be provided.
The Rawls College of Business building is located on Flint Avenue and 15th Street. Attendees are asked to use the northeast entrance, and parking is located on the east side of the building.
