of astronaut and Eagle Scout Willie McCool, who died aboard Space Shuttle Columbia
during its reentry to Earth in 2003.
There might not have been a better person than Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell to tell
Lubbock-area Boy Scouts the significance of their motto, "be prepared."
