Texas Tech sticking around Although Texas Tech had to drop its computer science programs in Abilene recently, the school will still have a presence in Abilene’s education realm. Tech will soon announce plans to offer a wind energy graduate certificate program, where engineers can earn 15 hours of postgraduate work. More information is expected this week.
