Wild weather hits area

Texas Tech canceled its morning classes, much to the dismay - not elation - of students like Bess Luker.

The senior marketing and management major from Comanche said Old Man Winter robbed her of a final exam review session, an academic staple this time of year.

"We had a review today," Luker said. "Now we just have a final. It'd be different before Thanksgiving break. Especially if you're graduating, it's just extra stress you don't need."
