Important Parking Info and Reminders for Weekend Concert

Gary Allan is scheduled to perform in concert at United Spirit Arena Friday, October 23. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m. with special guests Stoney LaRue and Justin Moore opening the show at 7:30 p.m.

Parking

Please be advised of traffic and parking congestion due to A&M tailgating near the United Spirit Arena. Concert parking is free and will be reserved for concert-goers in:

  • C17 lot (west of the law school, near the TTU Credit Union)
  • Northern portion of R21 (south of the arena)
  • C10 (north of the TTU greenhouse)
  • A limited portion in C11 (the lot north of the arena)
  • The parking lots west of the facility across Indiana Avenue (C12, C13, C14, C15 and C16) will also be available to concert-goers as well as football game tailgaters on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday

Tickets

Concert tickets are priced $38.75 (prices include service charge), and are available at the following Lubbock Select-a-Seat outlets:

  • Texas Tech University Student Union box office
  • Civic Center East Pedestrian Mall
  • Dollar Western Wear
  • Ralph’s Records & Tapes
  • All area United Supermarkets

Show Reminders

Various food concessions, soft drinks and beer will be available for purchase at concession stands.

All patrons and handbags are subject to visual inspection prior to admission to the arena. Large purses and backpacks will not be allowed, and all small bags will be inspected. Patrons who refuse to allow such inspections will be denied entry to the arena. Prohibited items must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded; the arena will not provide a storage area for these items.

The Arena is a non-smoking venue. The designated smoking section for this event is outside the food court doors on the east side of the Arena. Violators of the facility’s no smoking policy or carrying any of the prohibited items will be subject to ejection from the facility. Non-professional style cameras, including digital, disposable and 35mm cameras will be permitted for this show.

Prohibited items at the concert include:

  • Professional / Long Lens Cameras
  • Video/Audio recording devices
  • Laser pointers/laser pens/flashlights
  • Weapons of any kind (knives, guns, chains, studded/spiked jewelry, etc.)
  • Glass containers or cans of any kind
  • Large purses or backpacks
  • Skate-shoes
  • Fireworks
  • Noise makers
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Outside food and beverage
  • Tobacco products of any kind
  • Large signs, flags, sticks, poles & banners
  • Animals other than aid dogs
  • Helium balloons
