'Wedding' couple has far-flung support

Leigh Daniel and Nick Cordes need more than just charm and a cute story to win NBC's "Today Throws A Wedding." They need votes. Now that the couple has made it to the final round, competing against just one other couple for a dream wedding, residents of Ashland and Daniel's hometown of Lubbock, Texas, are pulling out all the stops.
Daniel and Cordes have spent the past three Wednesday's on "Today." They have competed in various contests in an attempt to get contest votes. If they win, "Today" will fly close family members and the wedding party to New York City and the couple will be married July 15 in Rockefeller Plaza. Voters will select everything in the couple's wedding.
