Official SPICE Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Texas Tech SPICE Chess Park will take place on July 27, 2009 at 10 AM. This will be a historic day for Collegiate Chess in America.
Many dignitaries, faculty members and staff from Texas Tech University (including TTU President Dr. Guy Bailey, Special Assistant and Counsel to the Chancellor Russell Thomasson, and Associate Vice Provost Dr. Jim Brink, etc.), representatives from various city agencies and local businesses, the participants of the 2009 Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls and members of their families, will be attending this special event. We expect to have around 150-200 people at this ceremony.
