Lubbock Chamber to Host Alternative Energy Symposium June 5

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host an Alternative Energy Symposium on Friday June 5 and will highlight wind energy, ethanol, and energy policy. The Symposium will be from 8 a.m.  to 1 p.m. at Plains Cotton Cooperative Association, 3301 E. 50th Street.

Speakers will include Joe Outlaw with the Texas A&M Agricultural and Food Policy Center, Dr. Andy Swift with the Texas Tech Wind Science and Engineering Center, Sam Sacco with the Levelland-Hockley County Ethanol plant, and Tim Lust with National Sorghum Producers.
