Students Honored During May Commencement Exercises

More than 3,100 students received diplomas May 8-9 during five ceremonies at the United
Spirit Arena. Guest speakers for the ceremonies included Ambassador Karen P. Hughes,
former counselor to President George W. Bush; Scott Pelley, 60 Minutes correspondent
and Texas Tech University Alumnus; and Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff and
senior adviser to President George W. Bush.
