Financial constraints force closure of FM station

KTXT-FM was closed Dec. 10 and the outpouring of support to bring it back by students and alums has steadily grown.
A Facebook page dedicated to reviving the station now boasts nearly 4,000 supporters, with postings urging them to ask Texas Tech officials to return it to the air.
