News Radio 1200 WOAI: AT&T donates $25 mil to Texas Tech; forms Whitacre College of Engineering

Ed Whitacre, the former chairman of AT&T, is getting his own building at his alma mater.
Texas Tech, this morning, unveiled the Edward E. Whitacre School of Engineering.
"We have one of the top engineering colleges in the nation," Chancellor Kent Hance tells San Antonio's News Radio 1200 WOAI. "We felt like naming it after him would be the proper thing to do, and give credit to our most distinguished alumni."
