Collin College announced in September that the school will open a Higher Education Center at the Bridge Street Town Centre where junior and senior level courses would be offered.


By 2010, students won’t have to have to leave the county to get a bachelor’s or master’s degree.


The college is looking to work with its eight partner universities to offer upper-level degree programs. Those universities include University of Texas at Dallas, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University-College Station, Texas Woman’s University, Texas Tech University, Baylor University and the University of North Texas.
