TIEHH To Announce Major Counterterrorism Research Award

WHAT: Announcement of research award for The Institute of Environmental and Human
Health at Texas Tech
WHEN: 9:45 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 12)
WHERE: The Institute of Environmental and Human Health, 1207 S. Gilbert Drive at Reese
Technology Center.
EVENT: Institute director Ronald Kendall and Congressman Randy Neugebauer will announce
a major research award for TIEHH to address countermeasures to biological and chemical
terrorism for the U.S. Army. Also at the event, organizers will discuss major accomplishments
for the institute, which include new patents, research progress, commercialization
of new technologies and completion of a new textbook.
