Burkhart Center Hosts Annual Autism Awareness Walk

WHAT: Texas Tech University’s Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research presents the 2014 Burkhart Walk for Autism Awareness

WHEN: 2 p.m. Sunday (April 27)

WHERE: Jones AT&T Stadium

EVENT: The Burkhart Center will host its annual Walk for Autism Awareness.

The walk is open to all members of the community, and participants can sign up individually or as teams. In addition to walking, there will be inflatables, games and other fun activities.

The number of people and families affected by autism around the country is growing and The Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research provides resources for all individuals on the autism spectrum and raises awareness of autism in the community.
