Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business presents its Chief Executives’ Roundtable (CXR) speaker series for the fall semester beginning at 11:30 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 26) at Lubbock Country Club.
Entrepreneur and Texas Tech alumna, Usha Viswanathan will be the first speaker in the series.
Viswanathan, a mother of two, turned in her diaper bag for a backpack and received a Master of Science in Management Information System at Texas Tech with a 4.0 GPA. She later co-founded the now internationally known Starnik, a high-tech startup in Lubbock which provides cloud software solutions for utility billing and energy management.
The series continues Nov. 7 with Kenneth Huseman, president, CEO and director of Basic Energy Services. He has 26 years in the well servicing business and was responsible for moving WellTech, a developer for the oil and gas industry, from the second-largest to the largest player in the market.
The CXR series brings industry leaders to Texas Tech to share their experiences and insights with students, faculty and the Lubbock community. The CXR series is open to the public by subscribing to the program.
