Halloween apparently isn’t for everyone, some school districts are banning scary costumes and candy giving saying it has no educational value.

Texas Tech pop culture expert Rob Weiner says give him a break. “There has always been books on vampires for children, look at the Count onSesame Street,” Weiner says. “There’s no reason to make it gruesome.”
