KTRH-Houston - Americans Go Twinkie Crazy

With Hostess Brands now in limbo, a Twinkie craze has spread across America. Some online auctions have starting bids for a box of Twinkies at $50 or $100.

“I think it ridiculous, its pure lunacy that someone would put a case of Twinkies up for that much money,” says Texas Tech pop culture expert Rob Weiner. “They want to make a buck, and I understand that, but I’m not sure that this is really the end of the Twinkie, or the end of the Ding Dong.”
