Mundelein Review – The MOON (More Observation of Nature) project, under the leadership of Texas Tech University, asks children in grades four through eight to observe the moon for 16 weeks and for the last nine of those 16 weeks, they write short essays about lunar observations they’ve made, patterns they found when comparing the observations made by children around the world and explanations for those patterns. They post their final writings for all children in the group to read.

Bob Duncan, R-Lubbock, has filed Senate Bill 557, with the aim of creating a funding distribution formula for universities admitted to the National Research University Fund.
