Professor’s children’s book earns ‘Best Books 2010’

Canyon News – Emily Hunt, assistant professor of mechanical engineering at WTAMU, and her co-author, Dr. Michelle Pantoya, associate professor of mechanical engineering at Texas Tech University, received word Tuesday, Oct. 26 from USABookNews.com that their book Engineering Elephants had been named a finalist in the seventh annual “Best Books 2010” in the Children’s Picture Book Nonfiction category.
