High school students competing in a solar powered car competition will take a stop in Lubbock Monday.
The Hunt Winston School Solar Car Challenge consists of 18 teams competing to rack up the most miles from Dallas to Boulder, Colorado. Teams took off from Snyder and will stop at Texas Tech Monday afternoon.

The expansion of Polymer Group Inc.’s Waynesboro plant is under way as the company begins construction of a new state-of-the-art spunmelt machine.
