Yet another theory has been floated to explain the extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, this one from a Texas Tech paleontologist who says they were done in by a meteor that struck India’s Shiva basin. That explanation joins a good many others, including disease, volcanism, climate change and various combinations.
