I love President Schmidly! I was devastated when he left. He did so much for our university. When I was interning in DC, he came into the office where I was working and noticed the Double T necklace I was wearing. He asked about my major, my hometown, and my experience as a Red Raider. He even helped me find another internship so I could spend the entire summer in DC. He didn't have to do any of that, but he took the time to reach out to me. At a time when I was less than enthusiastic about our Chancellor, President Schmidly brought a genuine, honest, and sincere presence to our administration.

That "breezeway of the Administration Building" as you call it is called a "sally port". Most of us alumni from at least the 1960s (and before) all know that. It's called the "sally port of the Administration Building". A breezeway it isn't.
