Texas Tech’s governing board could decide this afternoon to rip down two aging buildings to make room for a new Honors College Complex.

“It would be a recruitment tool, a showcase, and an indication to the rest of the world that Texas Tech is committed to academic excellence,” said Gary Bell, dean of Tech’s Honors College.
