Lubbock Avalanche-Journal - Children’s book author to be guest narrator when Lubbock Chorale opens its season with performance based on classic

Lubbock Chorale director John Hollins began working months ago to secure his guest star for Friday’s performance of a children’s classic. Douglas Wood will narrate a Lubbock performance of “Children Will Listen, Song of Wisdom from ‘Old Turtle,’” based on his children’s book.
