Students Honored During May Commencement Exercises

Photos and video of Spring 2009 Commencement Ceremonies.

More than 3,100 students received diplomas May 8-9 during five ceremonies at the United Spirit Arena. Guest speakers for the ceremonies included Ambassador Karen P. Hughes, former counselor to President George W. Bush; Scott Pelley, 60 Minutes correspondent and Texas Tech University Alumnus; and Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff and senior adviser to President George W. Bush.

    Thank you for the graduation photos you posted on the TTU website. I have seen the photos posted on the candidcolorphotography.com website for the graduation ceremony on May 9 at 1:30pm. They did not post any photos of the speakers, banner bearers, etc. Do you know how I can get in touch with the photographer to see if these photos are available. Thank you

    What great speakers; I don’t even remember mine. Was this a small commencement class? It is about half of my class in 12/84 (over 6000) .
