Three Outstanding Agriculturalists Honored at Texas Tech

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources honored three South Plains residents during its annual Pig Roast at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall.

The annual awards recognize individuals for contributions to various areas of Texas agriculture. This year’s recipients were Richard Ligon of Graham for agribusiness, Woody Anderson of Colorado City for agricultural production, and Sam Curl of Pecan Plantation for public service.
