- Dallas WFAA-ABC: AT&T donates $20 million to Texas Tech University
AT&T Inc. has made what appears to be the largest contribution from a Dallas-based company to a university engineering program – a nearly $20 million donation to Texas Tech University.
That gift, along with money AT&T raised from other donors, will create a $25 million endowment the school will use to attract top engineering students and professors.
