International Herald Tribune - A Vietnam War project in cowboy country
This low-slung, spread-out town in the Texas Panhandle would seem almost a foreigner’s stereotype of cowboy America, a place where a tourist attraction is a prairie-dog park, the vehicle of choice is a four-door pickup, and the surrounding land supports some of the largest cotton and cattle farms in the world.
