David Snead, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of History, can comment on the historical background of diplomacy in regards to the potential Iraqi war and previous wars. Bradley Ewing, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Economics and Geography, can address the impact of war on economic growth, the Federal Reserve, the employment rate, stock market and interest rates. MILITARY MEDICINE
Jerry Spencer, M.D., J.D., director of the International Forensic Sciences Center at Texas Tech and medical examiner for Lubbock County, can speak to ways the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology identifies military victims.
