POLITICS/LAW
Victoria Sutton, M.P.A., Ph.D., J.D., professor in the School of Law and director of the Center for Biodefense, Law and Public Policy, can speak to issues concerning bioterrorism, law and biodefense issues, constitutional law and law and science. David Snead, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of History, can comment on the historical background of diplomacy in regards to the potential Iraqi war and previous wars. Snead also can address past and present U.S. policies from a military standpoint. His areas of expertise focus on American diplomatic and military history. ECONOMICS AND OIL
Bradley Ewing, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Economics and Geography, can address the impact of war on economic growth, the Federal Reserve, the employment rate, stock market and interest rates. Ewing also can comment on potential fiscal and monetary policies that can be created as a result of a possible war with Iraq. MILITARY MEDICINE
Jerry Spencer, M.D., J.D., director of the International Forensic Sciences Center at Texas Tech and medical examiner for Lubbock County, can speak to ways the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology identifies military victims. Spencer is a former medical examiner for the Armed Forces and helped identify victims from the terrorist attack on the USS Cole. He can be reached at (806) 743-2158.

MENTAL HEALTH
Cindy Weiss, R.N., Ph.D., associate professor in the School of Nursing, can speak to post- traumatic stress disorder. She can be reached at (806) 743-2730.
