ADDICTIONS EXPERT AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT ON HOLIDAYS

Kitty Harris, Ph.D., director of the Center for the Study of Addiction at the Texas Tech University College of Human Sciences, is available for comment on the struggle of addictions during the holidays.

Harris said that the holidays can often be difficult times for individuals suffering from an addiction. Many people seek treatment for their addiction either during or after the holiday season, Harris said. Harris explained that it is important that individuals seeking help have resources available to them.
